1. The competition deadline for the iPod and Mac skins has been extended to 31 October 2008, therefore, the submission will be extended too.... to 5 October 2008. SO..... I'm expecting FANTASTIC WORK!!!

2. There will be another assignment given to you as holiday homework. Will pass it to you on Tues, 16 Sep 08. And the deadline for this assignment will be when school reopens. 3. So in this weekend, please study for your Class Test 1. Revise Chapter 1- 14 for your test. It is 30 MCQs test paper. We will be doing the test on Tues, 16 Sep 08. The duration for the test is 1 hour. Phase Test 1 will be on Thurs, 18 Sep 08. The duration for this is 3 hours.

2. ITE College Central is organizing its first adventure race event, Xtreme Fiesta, for students from ITE as well as Secondary Schools on Tuesday, 21 October 2008 at ITE College Central (Yishun Campus) from 8.00am to 3.00pm.

Explorations in Ethnicity Basic Course - Explorations in Ethnicity is a 2D1N camp that provides a platform for youth to discuss, in an honest and open setting, the issue of race and ethnicity in Singapore. Led by experienced trainers these sessions allow for reflection on the what it means to live in a multi-cultural society such as ours. More details on what is covered during the camp can be found in the attachment below.

This camp is organised by OnePeople.Sg, and there will be two more coming up in mid-Oct & end-Nov.

The camp costs $25 per person but the school will pay for participating students.

The 5th Week of School...

A list of things to announce:

1. First of all, we have a new class rep and assistant rep. Class rep is Raffee and assistant rep is Saidah. PU0801B, please do give your support to them and co-operate with them. Raffee!!!! Please collect $1 from everyone for the birthday celebration. Do it by Tuesday, 5th Aug 08. This collection is for July 'babies'. I'm thinking of collecting a dollar more for the August babies, ummm.... see how, I will discuss with you on Monday.

2. There's a 'Inter-School Performing Arts Challenge' in campus. Do give your support! :)

3. There will be a 'Student Leadership Development Program: Basic Leadership Activitze (Blaze) 1 Training 2008' in this coming September. Initially, Chee Hwee, Derong and Xuanyin, you guys are expected to attend this camp. It is a leadership camp, and for those of you who want to build up your leadership skills; let me know.

4. There's a 'Buddhist Lodge Bursary Award 2008' for application. Take note below:

Eligibility Criteria
1. Singapore citizens or permanent residents regardless of race, religion or gender.
2. Full-time ITE students
3. Come from low-income families and be of good conduct & have good academic results.
4. Recipients of the CDC & CCC-ITE Bursary or Scholarhip in year 2008 are not eligible to apply.

If you know of any students who are eligible & keen to apply for this bursary, please ask them to pick up an application form from Counter 1 & 2 of our Customer & Visitor Centre (CVC).

Deadline for submitting application
Application forms must be submitted together with all the required supporting documents as stated in the form. Please ask your students to submit the completed forms into the Student Service dropbox located at the CVC latest by Fri 8 Aug 08. All applications must be submitted through the College. Dear kids, I'm back for updates. Time passes very fast and Week 4 is approaching. Hope everything is good so far. Anyway, there's a couple of things which I need all of you to take note...

Things to take note:
1. So far, majority of you had submitted your Assignment 1 for MFD, however, there are some of them who haven't handed in yet. So please, take your INITIATIVE to hand in your assignment! I don't want to 'chase' after you to get your work. The students who still owe me their work are: KELLIE, SHIN SHIN, MISBAH, RUBEN, CHIEH HSIN, AMANDA, XIANGQIN, JIANHAO. CHEE HWEE, I only received one badge design, please send me the rest, including your explanation. DERRENCE, you had sent me the JPG files only; please send me your PSD files. RAFFEE, I only received your explanation but no badge design files; please send me the files. In conclusion, those of you whose names were mentioned above, please send me your work ASAP, by MONDAY, 28 July 2008. Or else, '0' will be rewarded.

2. Recently, I noticed a bad attendance from a few of you, which I do not want to say who you are. If you really sick, get MC. If you have a valid reason of not coming to school, give me parents' letter for approve leave. If you do not wish to stay on in school, please tell me and withdraw from school. I do not want to waste your time to persuade you to stay and study something which you're not interested at all. Stop wasting your time, my dear kids! You have to think for your future right now, you can't waste any more time. Plan your future. Don't let any other relationships to affect your studies too. Anyway, do come forward and discuss with me on your withdrawal from school if you do not have any more intention to stay on. This is the second semester, don't mess up with your attendance. Those of you whom I've already given you a chance, please use this chance to work hard.

3. Please don't be late for your classes. If you late for 15-20 mins, perhaps we, lecturers can accept that. However, if you late for 45mins-1hr, I think that's a bit too much. I do not want to nag at this issue again and again. Becos, it has been quite some time since we have this problem. I really want to see an improvement in this matter.

Hey all, sorry for not updating anything for the past few days as I was sick and on mc. Anyway, second week of school is beginning tomorrow. I hope everything so far so good though... My dear kids, it's really nice to see all of you back in school again! Really hope that we'll have a good start in this new semester by working 'DOUBLY' hard for your GPAs. Those of you who didn't scored well for your last semester, don't get demoralized but add in more 'oil' and efforts to achieve a better grade. Those with GPA 3.5 scorers, please add in more efforts to achieve a GPA 4.0 and those with GPA 4.0, please maintain your grade! Anyway, please see the attached file below for your new seating arrangement. Please comply and take note on the 'titles' given to you. Don't hate me for the new seating plan; I'm just wanting you all to improve your grades.

Hi there, it's time for school again! Did you all have a great vacation? And in this semester, you have a couple of tough modules to learn, for instance, Multimedia Fundamentals & Digital Imaging (MFD), IT Essentials (IT Ess), 3D Elective (Comp G) and so forth. Really hope that you all will work harder for this new semester! See the attached time schedule below. By the way, it's a new term and SINCERELY hope that there will not be any discipline problems from you all. Below, is a list of school rules to remind you before coming to school on Monday!
